Meet Sensolytics at Operando Nano Interfaces (ONI) 2026 in Berlin
From 16–18 November 2026, Sensolytics will be in Berlin for Operando Nano Interfaces (ONI) 2026. The conference brings together researchers investigating dynamic interfaces in catalysis, electrochemistry, batteries, and energy materials, with a particular focus on operando and in situ characterization. We look forward to discussing how localized electrochemical measurements can complement these approaches by resolving electrochemical activity and heterogeneity directly at interfaces.
Electrochemical interfaces are rarely uniform: local heteogeneities in composition, structure, reactivity, or transport can determine the behavior of a material while remaining hidden in conventional electrchemical measurements. Scanning electrochemical probe microscopy methods provide a way to investigate these heteogeinities directly, linking the electrochemical response to the area investigated across an interface.
At ONI 2026, Sensolytics will present and discuss modular platforms for Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM) and other localized electrochemical measurements. These approaches can be used to map local electrochemical activity, probe interfacial reaction kinetics, and investigate spatial heterogeneity in materials relevant to catalysis, energy conversion, corrosion, and related fields.
